He contributed a lot more and had stayed on despite wanting to leave for a couple of seasons. He also signed a contract extension back when Barca were first trying to get him, so that we could get his worth. On top of that, he could have gone elsewhere for more money, but his move was motivated by family/homecoming as much as glory.

Nasri refused to sign a new contract and moved to leave the second a club with big wages and glory-potential came calling.

The differences between the two are massive, to be honest.

You can blame Nasri only on a morale side. His behaviour was always first class and I think its Wenger or the board fault to believe that he would have sign a new contract when they already knowing that City or United is our competitor .
