Wretched RAMS v Tenacious TERRIERS

2nd East Midlands opposition in 4 days.
And another perfect scenario for TOWN !
Just like Forest, Derby having a slightly indifferent time of it lately. And another chance for The TERRIERS to take advantage and realistically go for all 3 points, despite being the visitors !

Of their last 6 games, the RAMS have only had 2 home ties, A 0-0 v Millwall at the beginning of October...2 points dropped from thier perspective, And a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Wigan.
Of the 4 away games, 3 impressive wins, But a 2-1 defeat by Brentford at the weekend...(a 91st minute winner !) see the RAMS drop to 5th. again, disappointment after taking the lead early on.
McClaren was annoyed with an 'off day' v Wigan, and equally unhappy conceding 2 points to a late goal on Saturday to mid table Brentford.

So Last 6 games,
D-W-W-L-W-L

Good home crowds of around 28 thousand...
Albeit ....."As quiet as a Library," Quoted from our very own 'Waltz' - King of Worksop last season..& endorsed by 'The Men of the Woods'.

Top scorers to date :-
Martin 12
Ward 5
Dawkins 3

The 'Kick 'em up in the air crew'

Buxton 1 + 1
Eustace 4 ...."I got the ball Ref - Honest"
Martin 3 try keep your shirt on

Good wins against Reading (3-0) & Fulham (5-2) but 0-0 v Millwall & the two defeats isn't consistent to maintain top spot,
And onto Tuesdays opponents,
The in form TERRIERS

OK RAMS fans.... the reason for the upbeat confidence !
TOWN are unbeaten in 7
the last 6 games as follows, :-
at Wolves, 3-1 W
at Blackburn, 0-0 D
v Blackpool, 4-2 W
v Brighton, 1-1 D
at Ipswich, 2-2 D
v Forest, 3-0 W

TOWN under new manager Powell have transformed into a competitive outfit, his satisfaction with the defeat of Forest was the willingness to defend the nil score line right to the end.
Players are now fighting for a position, and it would appear being left out either through tactic, or a mediocre performance drives them on (as it should)to regain favour.

Tuesdays encounter should be a good one.
Derby wanting to get back to winning ways, especially in front of the loyal home crowds... but surely cautious of a resurgent TOWN who have flourished under Powell, and climbed steadily from the bottom 4 drop zone to 14th, on 20 pts with a -3 goal difference.
Derby. 5th, +11, 26 pts.

TOWN will attack, & use wide men, Beware the Wells/Holt combo.

Wells 9
Bunn 5
Butterfield 3

"He dived Ref"

Wallace 2 + 1
Coady 3
Vaughan 3.... is this guy seeking 'Workers Comp' !!

Of late, we have taken apart Wolves 3-1 at their place,
earned a good away draw at Ewood Park. (0-0)
and come from behind at 2-0 to get a point at Ipswich.
Town are clearly capable, and will want to keep this good run going, Derby could be the toughest test yet, but have faultered here & there..

Darn's prediction.
a 2-2 nail biter. McClaren reckons it's usually Derby who score the late goal... Hopefully not on Tuesday night.

Hydy, I plan to do that but I know no-one uses it as I am a regular on the match thread and would have heard by now. But I know some will help set it up once we get the idea going. Just want to make sure I know what I'm doing first when I introduce the idea on Saturday

None of us had heard of it. I think jacko or waltz stumbled across it.

It's great. I'm sure they'll be a few on there that will help. Probably not wassa or 666

Didn't Admin bandy something along these lines on a thread a few weeks ago and one or two posters said they would be guinea pigs for it.

Seemed to along the lines of a live commentary, not sure how it materialised but will investigate.

Over half our board of 50 odd are living abroad so this would be useful tool to have.

I just downloaded the app and tested it. It's a brilliant idea. I had to search for myself on the iPad app when broadcasting from the iPhone app. So I guess if people log in with some version of their JA606 name they should be easy to find and the broadcaster can just pop their name on the match thread.

Ideally we need someone in Derby to do the broadcasting ... but if not I can broadcast my Ramsplayer to those that have nothing.

Igor, we could start on Saturday ... except I will be away

Its live on the telly box, much better when it's only audio & streams, Fin.
