The day has arrived! Get behind the lads!

I haven't felt this excited for a long time, well at least for 5-6 months. I think tonight is on par with our day at Wembley, however I think under the current circumstances a win tonight will deffo be just as good if not better that our acheivment on that wonderful afternoon in late February.

Our squad has been massively depleted since the Carling Cup final, only 2 remain from that starting line-up, Stephen Carr and Keith Fahey started that game, Beau getting a run out from the bench in the second half.

Qualifying with give Blues fans some amazing opportunities to go abroad and watch us hold our own against some very good European teams. I would love to have the opportunity of going over to Spain, France, Italy and watching Blues play in a competitive games. however this may then after our league performaces? It may tempt a few more players who are around on a free to join our club as they could play European football? Maybe it will tempt the likes of Jerome and Ridgewell to stay.

Either way I think all Blues fans should enjoy the night tonight, and create the atmosphere we had for the Carling Cup games against Villa and West Ham, sing your hearts out, if you go to work tomorrow with a voice, you didn't sing enough! This could be one of the biggest games we play for a while depending on how things work out, so make the most of it and show your support for the lads that want to wear the shirt and play for our club!

Keep Right On!!!

The fact that the whol stadium will be full of Blues fans as I hear they only wanted 150 or so tickets. I feel the crowd alone could beat their team with the intimidation!

I say this quietly but my only fear is if we concede, if we do it means we have to score two which does seem to have been a problem so far this season.

But I am staying positive, we will win this game and we will get through to the next round, come on you blue boys!

They have sold 77 tickets. Saw it on Andy Walkers Twitter.

Do you know where they are going to be seated?

Still in the Gill Merrick lower but they only have the first block.

28,000 noses I reckon.

All the best, hope it's a great night !

Taking out the 557 empty seats in the GM block one there should be a little under 29,500.
The last time I had butterflies in my stomach like this was Ipswich second leg CC semi and the WHU semi's season.
