Strange noise from a present under Neil’s Christmas tree. A large box with some obvious air holes in it so perhaps a puppy for Christmas ?
I read the card and it clearly states it’s from Phil and Eddie for his hard graft and being such a good boy.
Curiosity got the better of me so I shook the box a cloud of coal dust came from the holes not wanting to give myself away I carefully placed it back from where it came. Turning to walk away I couldn’t resist I gave it a little kick
Behold a voice I am sure I recognised shouted Oi Referee come on
On hearing somebody approach I made my escape

Sometime later it hit me that voice had been bugging ever since that little tap.

I’m sure I hear Phil going ho ho ho as I type so it was not sleigh bells it was Eddie’s helicopter delivering the goods.
