hard to say anything about future but Blackett only played as a LB couple of times this season and he hasnt been anything special whenever he played there

Neither has Luke Shaw. He has showed potential. The boy is only 20. The way people are around here, it is like they are not happy this lad is coming through nicely.

Shaw has been one of the best FBs in the league last season. He has also played well for united before getting injured.

Blackett on the other hand, has played as a LB for less than 90mins in the league. How do you compare Shaw with someone who only played as LB for less than 90mins in his top flight career?

Noone can say anything about the future but at the moment there is nothing to suggest that Blackett will be an equally good or better LB than shaw

And just like Falcao is showing, no one can say Shaw will be a success with us. Playing in front of 80,000 fans is a different ball game altogether.

tbh he played pretty well in home matches, Cant say for sure He will be a success I agree, I was responding to the guy who said Shaw should be dropped for Blackett. because at the moment shaw is a far superior LB
