After the surprise news (is it really a surprise these days) that Redfearn has Becchio as a target, what are the factors in this case?
Becchio does have Championship experience
Becchio does know Leeds and life in the area
Becchio's English would probably be better than a new foreign import
Becchio does know how to score at this level
Would Becchio fit into Leeds style of play
Who would be dropped to accommodate Becchio
On paper he could tick lots of boxes, but it feels like desperate times at Leeds are attracting desperate transfers and ones to try and curry favour with fans.

Redfern resigning Becchio will give the club a lift, he thinks yeah Becchio he is loved by the fans lets get him back
I'd rather have Matt Smith if I'm honest

Can't help but agree with LIW on this one, love Becchio following his first spell with us but will he really add anything other than giving the crowd a lift maybe? Hope I'm proved wrong.
Any else think we'd have been better keeping hold of big Matty Smith? The lads banging them in on loan at Bristol City, he got 4 last night alone!

hasnt played for two years he will be bigger than the celebrity who played up front for Wimbledon the other night,

Mighty, yes I think so too.
Was a better player than Becchio for sure.
He doesn't suit th style of play we are trying to force now so that's obviously why he left. But at least last season we had more of a threat

I don't get how people think becchio would do the grunt work.
Ross did it all for him. Anyone with half a brain could see that the work Ross used to put in up top was one of his best efforts.
He worked and worked and becchio got the benefit of that.
I was a big fan of becchio, loved his goals, he was paid to score and he did.
Bit he ain't been scoring for two years now and his type of play would put a lot if pressure on others.
The thing is if he returns I just can't see it working out, and if we are struggling and he is not seen to be putting in the effort, cause that's his style of play, then the fans will get on him in no time.
And then the fans will get on redfern cause he was the one who wanted him back.
For me this is a let the past stay in the past moment

His shooting accuracy while on loan at Rotherham was 43%, not saying we should def bring him back but that must be about 40% better than at present
unfortunately........only 477 competitive playing minutes since leaving us means he'll be a bit rusty

sorry........467 minutes

Perhaps we should try for Beckford as well then we will be well placed to challenge in league one next season....no I'm not joking & sorry guys but we are going down.
