To answer your point regards why I slate King for not buying shares worth £800k when he put £16m on the table earlier...
This is the crux of your post

King's offer was never going to succeed with these two men on the board, or one inparticular holding the proxy of votes to kybosh that deal if it ever went to the shareholders.
So the reason I am salting King for going down that route, is because it was destined to fail, even I could see this and it was absolutely no surprise to me that it did......Somers/Easdale were never going to hand control of the club over to King whne there was another offer on the table, it was never going to happen, never!!
and I'm hazarding a guess here, but the news of the club turning down a £16m funding offer in favour of a £2m short term loan, probably didnt do much to help the share price either......I wonder if that was perhaps part of the King plan too
