Al Haymon, Floyd Mayweather's puppeteer, the man largely responsible for Floyd for ducking numerous opponents most notably Pacquiao, and is credited for low risk fights for big money strategy is the biggest threat to the sport of boxing.
Haymon increased his stable of fighters to over 130 last year, but he is no promoter he just an adviser that takes his 15% cut. He provides little bar a gym for his fighter to train but still takes 15% of their purse.
But they get easy fights. He has water tight contracts that seen the like of Broner and Thurman turn down mega deals from Roc Nation
And is chiefly responsible for the best fighters not fighting the best.

Thurman vs Guerrero and Broner vs Molina will open up Haymon's NBC debut, looks like the guy is finally starting to put together some good fights

There was a story about some guy giving up some ringside tix to a Haymon associate before a big fight, then later saw those ticks on ticketstub for some outrageous price..
Haymon more or less made 2014 suck for boxing, but maybe he'll bring Christmas in 2015.. As long as boxers are getting paid good money, and fights are <eventually> being made, I'll tolerate his antics.. but I'm always wondering when some big controversy will unfold

Both fights to build Thurman and Broner.
Far too few 50/50 fights and most of the time he puts on gimme fights.

Apparently they wanted Thurman vs Maidana but Maidana yet again making excuses and saying he won't be back till later this year.
I think if Thurman wins this, he will fight Maidana next

Guerrero is a good fight for Thruman. But he has to target a world title this year.

Thurman has been the WBA mandatory for well over a year now, they need to enforce it. Floyd is the super champ but the regular title is vacant, I don't understand why they're taking so long.
Maybe they're waiting for Maidana to man up so they can make Thurman vs Maidana. Thurman is #1/interim champ, Maidana is ranked #3 by them.

I honestly think Guerrero could win - he's a very hard puncher, and might be able to corner Thurman's antics
