Whos in Europe

Now my Geography has never been my strongest subject, but watched a match this morning that involved a side called Apoel FC, who apparently come from Cyprus.

When did Cyprus become part of Europe? Good job Haifa (hope I've spelt that right), did not qualify?

No, I don't mind, but would hate it if my team was knocked out by a non European side.

how are Israeli teams in these European competitions? they are no where near Europe!! cyprus is still closer to europe than israel. Israel shouldn't be in it, end off. they should play in the middle-eastern champions league (if it exists) or we should include syria and palestine in europa league. systems so racist...

Rubin Kazan is near enough on the border with China!! I think some Turkish sides that have played in the CL/Europa have been Asian sides. Same with Kazakhstan sides and national team.

And don't forget Australia play in Asia!!

what will happen if a team from Vladivostok Russia qualifies?

I think Vladivostok is closer to Australia than to England.

Let's just keep it in the South East.

Anyone whose set foot in Israel let alone comes from there isn't allowed into most other middle-eastern countries.
