Reputation clubs

I noticed that Inter lost at home today, again to Torino...

Just makes you think, what ever happened to these so called "reputation clubs"? Where did it all fall flat for them? We have seen the likes of Inter Milan and AC Milan, 2 huge clubs but still poor nowadays. I feel that Liverpool are the same really. Huge club but poor nowadays. Are United headed for the same fate?

Even clubs like Villa, Nottingham Forest and Leeds that have over time fallen well off the top. Feel free to add to the list as it goes on.

Where exactly did it all go wrong for these clubs and what will it take for them to get back to the top again do we all think?

This is a pretty poor effort to be honest OP, try harder next time.

Well when is there ever a good article with Liverpool? You slated that one about Jordan Henderson a few days ago along with slating this one, the Balotelli one etc. The list would surely continue.

I'm pretty sure its Costa that is firing the goals in for them and Terry and Cahill form a solid partnership, why would Chelsea fix something that is not broken.

To stop being dumped out of the Cup at home to a League one outfit?

He can't do anything when he doesn't come on.

to the OP:

United are going to be a club with a high manager turnover. Players will come and go. Man U will be a top 4 or Europa team. They'll win cups every couple of years.

The club will still make a lot of money through merchandising and sponsorship.

Will Man U fans be happy with this?

Where did it all go wrong for comedy and wummery on this site? There used to be banter, and intelligent wit.

It just makes you think, what happened to the people who actually put a bit of effort and humour into going on the wind up, and what will it take for people to get back to that level?

Possibly. But I said United fans are heading down the same route prior to last seasons performance. This season could be different but that's how we see it atm.

to op... its all about dedication and competance..

lfc have had really poor owner in david moores IMO he ran us into the ground.

if you throw the baby out with the bath water as well from time to time with coaches etc and get it a bit worng... ie mr hodgson and his gk coach as sum total coaching at lfc

and if you see the drain in the academy coaching at lfc...... well you can see how these clubs fade a bit
