I thought Bury would walk this league but they have been indifferent since about mid-October.
Interesting to see the league 2 transfer news each day. Every club seems to be buying or loaning someone or another - except us. When you are 3rd and 1 point off the top spot the argument might be that the players you have are the ones you need and why change a winning formula. The counter argument might be that you need strength in depth and extra players for the final push.
I see Northampton have picked up Ricky Holmes today. He would have been a good signing.

This could be a tough game, Bury are in a false league position and look like they are moving back up the league.
I don't want a draw, but I would take a point.
Let's hope our new striker comes off the bench and scores a hat trick, autos here we come!!!

I'm going to be very optimistic and predict that we'll record our very first 1-0 win against Bury today, with Nasser El Khayati, scoring his first of many goals for our club.

Only 17 months since Bury's last visit but only McCrory, McGurk and Weir from the starting line up likely to be involved, though Edwards and Palmer were on the bench and Macdonald and Lyness would be in contention if fit.
2 goals in the last seven minutes to grab a draw.
So which of the unbroken records will go? Will it be the winless streak against the Shakers or the 100% home run under Jimmy?
