We won't sign a DM, now or in summer

We will be linked to over 200 DMs but sign no one. Why? Coquelin is the reason. Wenger will claim he doesn't want to affect his development and leave us waiting for that elusive top DM.

We don't need a world class DM, although one would we nice, a decent one will do. And Coq may be good enough. In his performances so far he has shown a good understanding of the game and has bossed the more senior players about frequently giving us better defensive positioning which has influenced results like the win at City.

Don't write Coq off too soon although I would be happy to see a proven player come in.

Coq's improved massively and is playing well, if he proves himself then that's a good thing and we can spend the money elsewhere.

Flamini, Arteta and "99%" Coquelin will be here next season, so no chance of another DM

Lol they just don't get it. We play with two holding mids and not a traditional DM. Gone are the days of the diamond formation.

Flamini and Arteta should be nowhere near our DM position so we currently have one DM with little experience, who is in excellent form and is also out of contract this summer - The Coq.

We need at least one more DM if Coq stays and two if he leaves.

More dribble from a fan who obviously doesn't watch many of our games.

At least one part of what you said is correct though, we're not playing a traditional diamond.

We have seen the Coq between defense and the rest of midfield in the DM position doing exactly what fans have been asking for - using pace, stamina and mobility to stop Mert and Kos from being horribly exposed.

It's nice to see Wenger has finally got lucky having sent the Coq on loan, while using players who may be more talented in other positions but are square pegs in round holes when it comes to what we need at DM.
