Players you wanted Spurs to sign ...

... but are very happy we didn't!

You know what I mean: we've all been screaming at the telle 'SIGN IM UP', but they turned out to be a steaming pile of dog p00. Or at least nowhere near Spurs quality.

Only rule is we have to have been linked to them in the rags.

Martin Petrov is a great shout. We were linked with him before and after he played for Citeeh

Martin Petrov was quality to be fair though. Was pretty good at Atletico and then both he and Elano were brilliant in 2007/08 - the season before the takeover where they went shopping for the major names.

Ah you're right about Petrov. He was actually fairly good, if a little old, so won't be added to our list.
