Following the recent events we need something to cheer us up, and it seems that Charlton are after Danny Collins. It would be lovely if they could take him off our hands. Who knows, he might actually remember how to defend again...

Farwaz needs to sell. We're going to go down at this rate, complete f king shambles.
Interesting I wonder if all today's departures were triggered by Freedmans arrival.
This is absolute chaos, the fans are going to be chanting Fawaz out before longer and a lot sooner than I thought. The guy is proving himself to be a complete click.

BS, in between minds on that. Most times a manager goes so does a number of the staff that fake in with them. So is it over dramatisation on the back of PF quitting, just standard or due to the fact SP had to rebuild from the bottom up.
Either way FAH seems to have wiped out most rebuilding done since Billy went, this is one thing a number of us we're worried about being a possible side effect. In some ways we've actually gone back further as the clubs reputation has taken another big kick in the nuts.

Fair play to you Ray, still a sane voice on a day of madness

I would imagine that all the staff that left where completely fed up with the way the club was being run and didn't want to get dragged down with Fawaz. Still no proper official word as he digs in and hopes it will all blow over.

I'm just fed up with it all Will, you naturally try give the benefit of the doubt and defend those that relating to the club to a certain extent, but there comes a point. I don't really care about being made to look daft on the message board but I just don't where the club will be in 6 or 12 months.
From a selfish point of view do/should you continue to pump money in if we are being badly mismanaged? I was even considering doing hospitality again later in the year.
Maybe I can chuck some nibbles at his head from those seats if I do

What worries me most here is that we have just lost our entire staff again, which will have involved paying off all their contracts. Now, we have to bring in new staff. Which will involve signing on fees if we want anyone good. All while trying to catch up on FFP so that we can get out of an embargo by 2016.
You'd think someone would have advised Fawaz against this.
Like a CEO maybe.

Just like a CEO! 😕

Changes to the coaching staff needed to be made, S.P could have been offered the job of Genaral Manager, a role more in keeping with his role with the 21's and a new coach brought in. This policy should have been discussed and agreed with the CEO. A fall back policy should have been drawn up in case S.P didn't buy into this plan, again in conjunction with the CEO. Needles to say all these different plan's should have been costed and a Impact Assessment on FFP drawn up and presented to the Board. The Board should comprise, Owner, CEO. Finance Director, Director Of Football [if one is appointed] or General Manager. Policies discussed in the BR should remain confidential and not get leaked via twitter.
That is the basis for a stable well run club.
From what we are hearing if the academy fall's within D.F's sphere of control it isn't going to prosper, to put it mildly.
The big problem here is that the owner doesn't seem to learn from his past mistakes. Should we stumble into the Prem' at some point, it will be an embarrassing disaster with out a solid club structure in place first.

If the academy regresses from this point onwards that would upset me the most. If you can say nothing positive about Pearce, you have to admit he really boosted the academy and youngsters in the team. It has been great to see the progress of Osborn and it was only a matter of time before Jorge Grant got his chance. If this all falls by the wayside, it would be a terrible waste.
