Cantona in a movie?

Just saw a trailer of the movie The Salvation and Cantona stars in it. Is he an actor?

He's a fairly well regarded Actor is ol'Cantona.

Of the films I've seen him in I've never felt that he looks out of his depth.

He is more of a fisherman.

He was brilliant playing himself in Looking For Eric.

That was actually a decent film.

Its a Ken Loach film so it was only ever going to be good.

I actually enjoyed looking for Eric.

One of the few people that could make me watch something I otherwise have no interest in. My eyes generally light up when I see him on the screen...

Look the farmer advert and the old Nike one the footballers in an indoor arena. I was looking for that the other day, does anyone know where I can find it?

I think there are quite a few versions of it. Just search for The Cage Nike on youtube.

There was also the older one where he featured as a player in a game vs the devil's hordes. Again, just enter Nike The Devil on youtube.

Btw, don't know if I sounded sarcastic with that comment, but I was serious when I mentioned his part in Looking For Eric. Ken Loach is one of my favourite directors too, so that was a film I was never going to miss.
