How many season ticket holders are there?

How many season ticket holders go to Chelsea matches? How many season ticket holders go to Arsenal matches?I am asking this as I had a discussion with an Arsenal fan who said that only 45000 season ticket holders attend Arsenal home matches and the rest of the tickets are sold in black market which is a shame.I think that there should be more tickets allocated for season ticket holders and also I think that there should be a limit on ticket prices to make football more affordable to football fans as the costs are very high.

Also I was reading an article on the internet that showed that Manchester City are earning more in revenue all over the world than Chelsea when Chelsea have won 1 UEFA Champions League and have been more successful in Premiership yet Chelsea are behind Manchester City in revenue earned during the last two seasons.

Can anybody enlighten me on these subjects?

Views?Chelsea and non Chelsea fans?

Im pretty sure there is only about 45,000 seson tickets at arsenal anyways considering that its a 60,000 seater stadium and about 5,000 go to away fans leaving 55 and then there is corporate and members.

Stamford bridge only has about 30,000 season ticket holders i'd imagine.

Man city earning more revenue is probbaly due to their bigger stadium and league titles but globally? really? did not know that.

I've been going to chelsea for 20 plus years and there are ticket touts at every game, however in my season ticket seats its been the same people and I don't know anyone who has sold to or been approached by a tout. It would not be veasable(sp?) anyways because season tickets are in card form and you would not get them back from the tout.

City currently have 36,000 season tickets
Next season with the new South stand 3rd tier there will be another 6,000 season tickets, all of which are already spoken for with £100 deposit paid by those on the waiting list to secure them and they are only £299 each

Thats well cheap, less than £16 a ticket if it only covers PL games. I think we need more affordable tickets but whilst the demand is so high some clubs will continue raking it in even though ticket income has not been as high as tv money for years now

our season tickets are only for PL games,we aren't obliged to buy cup games like Utd but there are cup schemes for each competition and the tickets ( barring games against teams like barcelona next week which are £50) are generally around the £15 mark so generally all home games sell out

Thats brilliant PP. Guess no one mentions this when they have a dig about oil money. Rather have this type of owner.

City's revenue is artificially inflated by their sponsorship deals with the owners friends.
In shirt sales and regular revenue they are well behind Chelsea. Fact.

Is it any different to the Man Utd American owners and the American company Chevrolets massive shirt sponsorship?
Or Chelsea's Russian dealings with Gazprom?
Any owner will look to people they know and trust to have business dealings with and its highly likely they will be from the same part of the world they hail from.

That's another matter entirely smn. £15 a ticket is doing something for the real working class fans whose game has been taken from them.
