Why would he say anything about Lallana? He takes a couple of games to warm up after an injury but a goal or assist every other game is a decent return.

You have to question Brenda really. Surely to god he told the players who, in Gerrards absence, was the pk taker.
One of them clearly defied their manager. Only they and Brenda know which one did although money is on he told henderson he was so he did bottle it especially as he was Captain. Shows Balo didn't respect his position either way.

The thing I don't understand is when you have Balotelli on the pitch, you would pick someone else to be taking penalties for you.

Had Gerrard been the sub and came on he would have taken the pen ahead of Henderson despite not being the designated pen taker so why was Mario taking it any different ?
