Its testament to our squad depth that little is being made of the continued absence of Oxlade Chamberlin or the fact that Sanchez has gone 5 games without a goal. In fact we are also still missing our Captain, first choice right back, last years player of the year Ramsey and we still look reasonably placed for that top 4 position.
To be frank I'm not bothered at all about the absence of our captain or Ramsey for that matter. Both very good players and in Arteta, he is the type of play we actually need when we are facing the last 10 minutes bombardment we faced at Selhurst but i am a bit concerned about the continued absence of the Ox.
Despite his inconsistency and lack of end product, the direct running of Chamberlin and his defensive duties offers so much balance to this Arsenal side. He pins fullbacks back the same way Sanchez does which helps relieve the pressure on the defence and midfield.
I know some people here like Castor Troy feel that Walcott can do that and has better end product but Im struggling to be convinced by Theo this season. He is playing well within himself to actually do what we think he is capable of.
I hope the Ox will be back in the next few weeks as we will need him at Old trafford for the FA Cup game.
By the way I think Wilshere will play a big role in our run in. Santi looks a bit tired and maybe pushed further forward in the next few games.
I hope van Persie fails to make it for the FA cup game.Despite his so called poor form he is still a lethal finisher and I would rather face Falcao or Wilson. For all the clamour to play Rooney as a striker his form in front of goal doesnt convince me he is the solution to their goal scoring problems but sadly for us, his game goes to Messi levels when he plays against us so can only hope he gets a ban for yellow cards or gets himself sent off in the next few games.
Quitely confident we can force a replay in the FA cup game.
Sanchez and Ox

We've been moving Ox but it seems like were doing just enough. Alexis not scoring isn't an issue either since others have taken on the mantle.
Walcott should've be starting games against half decent sides or away games till he's fully fit.

Walcott for the last few seasons has been our big game player. He scores against all the big teams.
Once he is back into the grove he will definitely be starting over Welbeck and Ox.
I'm a fan of Ox but after 60 mins he is done in terms of fitness.

Why some arsenal fans want Theo Walcot sold I do not understand... He came back after not playing for like a year and has been involved in the no of goals as Ox has this season if not more.
If these people start seeing Walcot as a forward instead of a natural winger maybe it might change their views.
I also remember Santi Cazorla was transfer listed by some fans too now he's massively important to the team.

Some of our fans are hilarious
The "santi is past it" was absolutely hilarious.
Walcott has never been liked by the fans whereas players like Wilshere always got a free ride even though he has proven nothing at arsenal

A lot of people haven't forgiven Theo over the whole #SignDaTing fiasco. Personally it never bothered me but I think it is the main reason people are quick to jump on his back.

Nobody talks about ox because he is trash maybe? Runs around pointlessly and almost always messed up in the final third.
