True story. May help some people here?

I know the "pain" of losing games like this. But right now? Whatever. I never set myself up for the win anymore. The energy that we experienced back in the 80's is long gone.

What? No, I am not only saying this. I genuinely am carrying on as if nothing happened right now. My emotions are fine. Why? Because there are more important things in life.

Do I have authority to say this? Hell yeah!! Back in the day I would have been full of rage, not a nice person to be around right now. And I have gotten into trouble a few times during times like this.

I even got banned on here when we lost against Manchester United a few years back.

My point? Don't worry about it. Don't let this corporate entity CONTROL your mood, emotions and what-have-you.

With love. Take it as you will. Slate me if you like. It doesn't matter. Carry on as normal. Forget it. This is NOT real football like we know it from back in the day. The People's game. It has been hijacked by the powers that be to CONTROL you and keep you in check. WAKE UP!

I think you'd have written a different thread if you'd won.

This thread does not exist if Spurs win.

Take the rough and the smooth........

No doubt. For sure. But anyone who supports a losing team goes through the motions so just throwing this out there.
It is not easy to shrug off the feeling we all get when losing. It is of course on the other end of the spectrum to the elated feeling we get when winning.
And it is a mind thing. This is just something I have had to come to terms with and even now I am fighting it. I am a family man and I refuse to let them sense a change in my mood which would not be fair on them. They didn't cause it.

Right now? Just carrying on.

I didn't even watch the match as I couldn't give a to55 about the Carling Cup

Should of fielded a full strength team in Europe, not rested for this

you have just matured and realized the 'sport' is not truly important to you anymore

I have just read on another thread that someone's 10 year old son was in tears from losing. The evidence is right there! We as a people need to look out for our own and stop "hating" on our fellow man, just because they CHOSE to support another name brand.
If I had an Android phone and played on Playstation would I call you a caaant because you played on XBox or had an iPhone? Actually. "Fan boys" Same concept.
