Let us see, when he was signed Kenny was your manager and this is Rodgers 3rd year at the club.

So, it has taken 4 years for him to start to justify the 20m outlay (wages not included).

Hendinho was massively important for us last season. In fact, his suspension at the end of the season was as much as, if not more so, a reason for us not winning the league than any slip was imo.

Hendo was very good last year, and even better this. Absolute bargain at 34 million pounds (Or whatever the oppo fans are saying his price was this week)

I said at the time of his suspension that it was all over as far as the league was concerned.

He has been absolutely instrumental in our progression.

You don't NEED a team full of so-called "Superstars" in order to hit a winning formula.

It's those that do the donkey work, week in, week out that make the difference.

Anyway, Henderson was immense for us last year. A lot of us have been saying for a while all he needs is to start adding goals to his game, that's coming now.

Honestly, the way he's playing at the moment, Gerrard leaving isn't that big a deal for me.

it was just his first season that was dubious

2 years ago he was up there with the top in his position but everyone was so obsessed with LALing (or trying to avoid it) that they didn't bother watching him

I thought it was 28 million, with optional add-ons taking it to 32 million.
