I think he would and it would only be natural for him to be approached!

He's a Govan man, I say we need him.

Rangers now are in a healthy position to get outside help and I'd imagine that que would be getting bigger by the day.

I'd love to see Sir Alex help this board rebuild Rangers.

TBH even as a massive SAF fan I am not sure he would necessarily have it in him anymore.

Maybe he'd still have the ability but the burning passion and desire may have faded.

Also think he retired to spend time with his wife rather than take up a different time consuming role.

Whether the 'Gers 'go it alone', or seek the advice of people like Sir Alex, it's still going to take time to get the club back on track again. Patience from all concerned, especially supporters, will be paramount to Rangers reaching the 'heights' (if that's the right word!) of Scottish football again.
