Shelvey doesn't learn (Jonjo's left elbow)

He strikes me as someone who always thought they'd be a special player and can't cope with the fact he's turned into a decent EPL player only.

He can't seem to cope when things don't go his way.

Most overated donkey ive ever seen. Scores a screamer every 6 months and people make out he has immense talent. Poor player barely epl standard

Very good player but have to agree with Tlt. Keeps lashing out at the guys who were supposedly his mates not that long ago. I have felt sorry for him every time we've played them as I felt he could still be playing a part but next time I won't be feeling that.

If he put in the same effort as he does against us in every game he would be an England regular.

He is lucky Joe Allen didn't go down after that. Red card all day.

He used to exhibit signs of the fiery character even when he was with us and it's hard to be mad at him after his rocket against United but he needs to control his emotions.

He has a strong desire for hitting long balls, a-la-Gerrard, and in most instances it comes off. I still think he is a very good player, but has the shortest of fuses. Because of his unpredictability, I can't envisage him playing for a top club, it's too risky.

I'll be honest in saying that when he and Hendo were with us I really thought Jonjo would be the one to take over fm from gerrard. Loved his tenacity, passing, shooting and all round game. But the nuttiness just doesn't seem like it'll go away
