Mario's Blert

Very angry young man at the moment talking through the social media again:

Balotelli's latest public statement, seemingly addressed to no-one in particular, said: “Do you know me? Did you ever talk to me, personally? Do you know what I’ve been through in my life?

“You just saw me play football on the pitch so, man, shut up."

-----////

Perhaps he's in the wrong City for empathy on the subject of being through things in life. For many people life is tough and it's pretty much an uphill struggle to the end.

Mario leads a life of privilege and opportunities and his rant just comes across to me as rather spoilt.

What's your take on the matter? Is it just another reason to get shot of Mario at the end of the season or perhaps just a rant on Instagram, that's what it's there for apparently !

I don’t know why they bother with social media because they face a constant barrage of spite that reveals an unpleasant facet of human behaviour from behind the shelter of anonymity.

great pointIt just lends itself to abuse and like you say the anonymity the internet provides just makes people worse.

I think most fans agree that we need to get rid.

But who would buy him??

Probably some Italian team like Parma or Lazio, will only get £6-7m back probably.

I don't know anyone (sit down Got_Better) who thought he would be a good signing tbh. Just totally not the kind of player we needed for the way we play.

Still kind of like his loony-type tendencies though .

Getting paid millions and he sulks
===========================================================
When did he sulk? It sounds to me like he just reacted to some internet Samurai.

Mario is a good lad, but he's not suited to Liverpool and I expect he and Borini will be gone this summer.

He's shown flashes of brilliance throughout his career (none for LFC unfortunately) and has hinted at being a big game player. But as we all know these performances are fleeting.

as much as he is talented I feel it's his personality and antics that have made him a star of European football, nothing he has done on the pitch suggests he's worth top player wages, so in that respect, yes he is a very lucky boy.

Despite all his flaws I want him to suceed.... Just can't see it being with us

There'll always be takers for the likes of mario, always some manager who thinks he can get the best out of him, and he'll earn a lot of money along the way but I suspect when his careers over he'll have some regrets, he's clearly talented but not fully realising that talent

I think had he been given a chance to partner Studge he would have been a success

never got the chance

probably never will

His heart isn't in it. Look at how many times he is 'sick' or not available for games

If he's had a bad stomach again this last week he needs to replace his Chef

He's quite alone it seems with not enough emotional intelligence to cope with it all. Shame
