Moore Recalled from the Bee's

I know he hasn't been getting good reviews down there, so I'd like to know if there are any Brentford fans/forums where we could get filled in about there feeling over his return.

Anyway, if he can't get into the Brentford squad then I can't see him getting back into ours any time soon.

I really don't subscribe to this lazy view that's become the norm in the PL whereby young players are sent on loan to develop and then supposedly come back as the finished article.

Best youth system at present is Southampton. They develop their own players.

Moore did have a dip in form but for me he's a better bet than everyone but Huth.

I think it was Phil Neville on the BBC the other day who was praising Southampton's youth system, stating that they were one of the few that gave players a recognised route to the first team.

If we do look for a new manager over the summer, it'd be good to find one who was keen on developing that sort of culture here, and for the likes of Hopper, Cain, Barmby and Lawrence (and indeed Moore) to be given a go. As we saw under Sven, throwing money around can so often be a waste in the Championship anyway.

I agree Dunge-what's the point of a Cat1 Academy if no few get a chance in the first team?
