Round 43: Bolton vs Charlton

Yet again we are beaten by a goal in stoppage time, something like the 7th time we've dropped points that way since the turn of the year, and the post-match reaction from Lennon spells out very clearly his feelings on that particularly statistic.

With four games left to play and a 13 point gap between us and Wigan we are now mathematically safe, however that does not mean the players can take their foot off the peddle. Lennon has made it very clear that everyone is playing for their future at the club, whether out of contract or not.

Tomorrow nights game is a bit of a dead-rubber, as like ourselves, Charlton have nothing left to play for except pride. Which could allow for two sides playing with the shackles off and looking to attack, or it could be a typical dull end of season tie between two sides already mentally on the beach....

Team News

Mark Davies (knee) is set to play his first game since November for Bolton and Matt Mills (ankle) may also return.

Craig Davies and Darren Pratley are both expected to miss out with hamstring problems.

Charlton are without Callum Harriott with an ankle problem but Frederic Bulot, Alou Diarra and Tony Watt are all in with a chance of playing.

Chris Eagles could play against his former club but skipper Johnnie Jackson has not recovered from a leg injury.

Predictions

2-1 home win, Le Fondre opener.
