Kane Ferdinand

I know everyone has heard the story about little Kane moving on, but i found this and thought i would share this site with everyone.

If that kind of money would be offered plus 20 odd % sell on clause i think we would have to accept.

It would basically pay for the money we are losing every month for this season coming.

What do you all think??

He proved a very useful first 11 player last season. Great talent and certainly won't remain at League 2 level for too long. Although £750k is reasonable, I think it needs to be £1m plus to get a handshake, WHU won't be the only ones interested...

Hi all, thought I'd pop on here and say hello!!

Kane would be a mug not to go to WH. If they are at all genuine he should pack his bags and go.

Yeah i heard this to. Looks like he's off if this story is true. that's going to be real dent in our promotion hopes as it seems not much players want to join us. but on the bright side we could do with the money. 750k is like 20 times the average spending in league 2. or am i wrong

Hi SirBigBlue - welcome - lets hope we get an influx as the season nears - it seems to be growing daily.

If he does go, and it more like when he does, it needs to be sooner rather than later to give Sturrock time to build for this coming season. Its life in League 2, but at least its better than last season when we lost a whole to for virtually nothing

Not a difficult decision really, take the money, especially if £750K mentioned is correct. The only fly in the ointment is where the dosh goes to. Running the club or Fossetts Farm - what would you prefer? Me - I'd go for running the club and getting new players in.

Hi hammer here he seems like a good player and it will become maybe a premier league player soon in a few years by getting some championship experience.

You make a good point rootshallbloke. I would say just running the club in general. That way we dont have to worry about losing money every month and pushing us further into non-exsistance.

Also, if other rumours are true then a couple of more players might be leaving for a bit of money. They may be key players yes, but the money will help to keep our club alive and with Sturrock in charge, the contacts he has will help bring other players in for free.
