We'll never know I guess.

But Utd are one of the Big 4 (Madrid,Barca, Bayern & us)

As a team right now, its pretty clear you're in better shape. As a club though you probably never be on our level. And who's to say you'd even be better on field had he become our manager.

Milan are on that level too in my opinion.

I still don't know why United supporters think Jose would have picked them over Chelsea. Seems nuts to me

The greatest sides of all time are between Milan when they dominated Europe and Italy simulatneously and the recent Barca side which did the same. 3 CLs each and a gluttony of league titles.

Milan has 7 European Cups and 18 titiles

Surely you have to include Real Madrid in that too? If you are looking from a historical perspective, its hard to discount 10 European cups.

the number of people who could debate the Real side of the late 50s is so small it's not really worth it


Although the Galacticos picked up 2 titles and 2 CLs thru 2003. You could say that was minor dominance of country and continent. But they were viewed as somewhat of a disappointment as expectation was so high.

can't really be considered a 'great' side with only 2 European Cups in that period

Surely Ajax and Bayern in the 70's have to be considered
