If you look at the top four as its stands, it is easy to see why just fell short. The top end of the pitch, all the top four have perceived world class talents in Sanchez, Falcao, Aguero and Costa plus others that can come in when they are missing.
Dont let others fool you into thinking we are miles away, we are not. Effectively league wise we swopped with arsenal, they gained sanchez we lost suarez, its probably the difference between 4th and 5th (When you add in studges abscence).
Two top striker's/attackers to go with origi and studge and we should be ok.

You're wrong here mate.
He carried us in the first few months when our injury list climb to another peak as usual. That is true.
After we had our players back we werent relying on him. He had a little dip of form in between.

That's also wrong. RVP is on a decline. Add his constant injuries. Currently I wouldnt swap him with Giroud who contributes more to our game than RVP ever did (apart from his final year at AFC).
