For MCCoist to retain his hero status at Ibrox. Now that it's been revealed that the new regime have asked him to relinquish his claim to more wages and he has , to date, refused. What will be the fans' reaction to this? Will he continue to be welcome at Ibrox ? I don't think so !

They created the storm by walking away or at least exacerbated it by taking advantage of the club,s situation. Anyway, as I say everyone has opinions on these guys , I don't want to see them back at Ibrox..ever.

McCoist is a total diick. Regarding his shares. Once we get back up to the SPFL, which we will either this season or the next and start competing those shares will sky rocket. If Ally holds out for the first year we win the league and qualify for the CL. McCoist will make a fortune. I know that will take some time, but when that time comes those shares will be worth a lot of money.
Ally has no intention of cutting his contract as well.
Regarding Whittaker and Naismith. They are both hated for the press conference upon leaving when during our worst moment in history. They both came out with the line. Rangers are not the same club now, it's a new club. Have you lot suddenly blanked this from your memories?
They should have just left quietly and said nothing. Ideally they should have stayed ala Boca and Edu and then went. Bunch of kants the both of them.

Ally will always be a legend in my eyes.
hes entitled to the money legally

I don't recall anyone disputing the legalities. But , having had his over inflated salary for years plus a million shares at 1 p a share, people are challenging the morality of continuing to receive 65 k a month!!

If kings true to his word, then 65k a month isn't gonna matter.
Over to king

I can see why McCoist would want the money paid, plenty directors did more damage than him and left with pay offs. He's only wanting the money contractually owed.
Ally the manager wasn't a success at all. But morally shouldn't really be a factor. He was the face of the club for years and the easiest target for abuse. He deserved some of it but you could see it punished him as he looked like a genuinely old man.

Ideal scenario is a settlement is reached soon. The last thing we need is for Rangers legends to be publicly battling the board. If Ashley senses this board might be weak now you can be sure he'd challenge it again if the support was even slightly divided over loyalty to legend or board.
