Froch Vs GGG????

Carl frochs future has been up in the air since his win over Groves last year. There have been numerous questions about whether he would continue to fight or hang the gloves up, with names such as Ward and Chavez Jr being thrown about Froch would be forgiven for wanting to have one last big pay day. However, recently a new challenger has worked his way into contention and he goes by the name of Gennady Golovkin. Froch hasn't confirmed his retirement or his next fight but what he has said is that GGG would be the ideal opponent if he were to fight one more time. I'm assuming the fight will be at super middleweight and GGG going up in weight to face a tough fighter would really give us an insight into just how good GGG is. I personally think it could be an interesting fight especially if it is at wembley. Froch is the bigger man with the bigger reach and bags of experience so it would be interesting to see how GGG handles the step up.

Thoughts?

I am not a big fan of Froch, personality wise, but the standard of his opponents in the last few years have been consistently high so I take the point about wars like the Kessler fights.. He is getting on in years, but seems a clean living guy, who is not going to get fat or fall out of nightclubs.

Superb stop being daft. The amount of wars and damage froch has
taken that 4 years would probably realistically be about 10 years.

Vik you're the one calling 33 year old Golovkin a "young lion".

Which in itself is an extremely daft comment.

Carl Froch has revealed he would consider putting off his retirement plans if he was given the chance to fight either James DeGale or Gennady Golovkin
