He's had 1 title challenge in 3, but I admire your enthusiasm and your faith. I fear you're in the minority, however, and can't see a title challenge on the cards. It could get messy; but 50-50 it could go the other way.
Just don't hold your breath.

I don't get all the negativity with Brendan really.
We finished second last year. Apparently this was entirely down to Suarez.
So using the same logic, surely we are only one player away from challenging for the title?

Rodgers won't still be manager in May. The only players we have been seriously linked with are free transfers, it looks like the owners don't want to trust him with any more money (I wouldn't either).
The fact he says he has the final say on transfers kind of says it all really. The transfer committee seems to be just there to sign the players and put forward options.

You guys won two of your last nine league games and one of them was scraping past a 10 man QPR team at home, with a gerrard goal who wont be there to drag you out of the s£!t next season.
I cannot see any kind of title chalenge for you guys unless you heavily invest in 2 or 3 to top, top players and not 6 or 7 average players like you did last season.

we will struggle to finish 5th... even with new signings. Reality!
We didnt only lose Suarez, we also have an injury prone Sturridge and have now lost our top scorer Gerrard. We also lost Agger from the season we finished 2nd.
We will not finish ahead of City, Chelsea, Arsenal or United who will spend big again.
