Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel has threatened to walk out of Anfield after rejecting the club's offer of a new contract.
Skrtel has become the latest Liverpool player to announce his dissatisfaction at a contract offer from the club, saying it made him feel 'uneasy'.
The 30-year-old Slovakian central defender has revealed that he turned down the offer of a new deal before the end of the season.
The main snag in talks between the player and club relates to a clause about the number of games he must play to earn his full salary.
Speaking to Slovakian publication Aktualne, Skrtel said: 'It's unacceptable for me. I think that such contracts are offered to players who are much older than me or players who have had some health problems.
"The contract, which was presented to me, makes me uneasy, so I did not sign it.
And given that such things are often outside of a player's control, Skrtel is clearly uneasy about the demand - and he made no bones about admitting to the paper that unless a new deal comes his way, he will consider other options.
"There has been some speculation other clubs interested in me, and they are currently being looked at."

I was a bit hard on Sakho because of his awkward style, but I agree he's the one to build on. He's quality.

TKT is that why Depay who was about to join PSG nearly done deal before LVG spoke to him. LVG doesn't like signing players while the season is still being played but was forced to and then Depay made his mind to play under LVG again.

The actual line was,
'There was some speculation about interest from other clubs but that is not coming from me. Now I am with the national team and will be going on holiday after that.”
