Probably be priced out that one. Any money needs to be diverted towards a decent striker and keeper though so maybe. Still got midfielders galore without pratley and bannon. If Morgan comes probably have enough at the back so if eidur and heskey sign their contracts and madine, Morgan and Amos sign on frees then got a decent squad to start the season. Expecting anything else to happen towards the end if not the last day of the transfer window.

Rumours today are that the Amos deal is "close".

Also Winston Palacios (ex Wigan), who's just left Stoke is with us for pre-season in Austria and if he proves his fitness may sign.

Spearing yes his work rate as never been a problem if while at Blackburn, he as worked very hard on how to pass a football to a teammate
And he can do just that on his return.

Spearing has never been able pass. He has to be used in a particular type of system. If that's not how we are going to play then there is no room for him. I like the idea of Palacios as if fit and hungry he has the quality to be one of the best championship midfielders.
