If I was a Liverpool fan then I'd be worried about the quality of the strike force baring in mind the injury record of your best forward.

But I'd be more worried as to who is going to be the leader in the dressing room and on the pitch and the driving force of the team.

Who is going to cajole the team when you go behind? Looking how you finished the season,especially when Gerrard knew their was nothing to play for,you had zero drive and zero commitment from the other 10 players on the pitch

No point talking about the likes of Benzema, Lacazette, Higuain and Cavani who are all reportedly available but out of our range.

Below that level we have players like Jackson Martinez, Mandzukic, Bacca, Benteke, Firmino, Luiz Adriano who are achievable baring in mind we don't faff around.

You know Firmino is a midfielder right? I can only see Benteke out of that lot as the rest Have CL footy.

Not all players are hard up on must be CL. Some of those players are not well paid and will be open to the move as well as play in the PL. We can't just sit and wave a white flag because they are at a club with CL however in truth those clubs have zero chance of winning CL.

The thing is that the Ings deal if you look at it as an isolated transfer is a no brainer as they will probably make a profit on the player in the long run.

But it could become a huge put off reason for bigger players they are looking to bring in.If you have big name players on the market and Liverpool are in the market to buy you,would you as a player or a players agent be impressed by signings such as Ings coming into the squad
