It's going to take a pretty special window

for us to just to stand still next season.

City are an undeniably better team than us right now, although it was good to see that gap narrowed significantly last season. Table doesn't lie though.

The type of players they are targeting though will make it incredibly tough for us to overtake them. Pogba, KDB & Sterling seem to be the big three. IF (big if) they signed all three of them, I think it would take something VERY special this summer from us to get near them. I actually think Sterling n KDB are almost in the bag for them too.
Pogba is the one who will take longer and be more problematic for them. Would be gauling to see him go there but wouldn't surprise me. Really hope Madrid, Barca or even Bayern pull it off. Would hate to see him at City, Chelsea or Arsenal.

Chelsea haven't yet shown their hand in the window (still very early) but they will no doubt add 1 or 2 top players. The typical tweak to the champions squad that we see so often. It's the rest that have to play catch up tbf.

Really happy with Depay signing and we seem to be targeting one or two other good players from around Europe too. However, I already have started to get the feeling that next season will be about consolidating our position in top 4 with a top 3 finish and be a lot closer to the eventual winners.

I still see far too many weaknesses in our team to topple both Chelsea n City

Who will be our next major signing this summer?

Last year we had an expensively assembled team.

But of that team, our top signing was shít, so was our other marquee signing - Di Maria and Falcao respectively. Oh and vP was shít also and Rooney wasn't at his best. So most of our front line was awful. A whole sector of the team was ugly, but we were ahead of City in March or April.

We'll add, they'll add. But they're ageing. They gave maybe their best last year? We definitely didn't.

"I'm not really sure that is true. We had a terrible start to the season, but, once settled, were at least as good as they were. "

Only when went on our bad run, we finished the season far better than you did too.

Up to Christmas we were streets ahead, a bad January February and a great run in after a poor Derby.

Even how poor Sterling has been in 2015 he is still quite abit ahead of Navas. Atleast he is prepared to beat his man, think he would link up well with Silva and Aguero. Not worth anywhere near the amounts reported but would be a good signing for City.

City in truth are an above average side and that's about it. Nothing special whatsoever. In fact that's the whole premier league at the moment. Nothing special

Don't think it takes a whole to catch them and chelsea up at all.
It's in Europe where we simply are miles behind

We all start on 0 points again. Fixture list should be out in next week so we can start all dreaming again

Man City actually both games against us were poor for long periods.

Chelsea and Man City have actually more weaknesses then us.

All we need is Carrick to play about 33 league games and we should win the league.
