How Much is Dea Gea worth?

Assuming he is on his way to Madrid, how much should we be asking.
18 Million was our cost if I remember and he is still not at his Prime.

I would expct we would not sell at below £30 Million. Some silly ( Levy ) prices being quoted for Lloris as a replacement - there must be a better option available ( Tim Krul always looked impressive)

"Madrid are arrogant bullies expecting they can just buy anyone they wish"

true. people say the same about United in fairness.

"and start fretting if anyone else wants to buy one of their own star players."

no, they just laugh when that happens. No one's taken a Madrid player that they still wanted. Players leave Madrid only when they are no longer wanted by the club.

The difference is we don't come out to the press stating that player X would like to play for us - trying to cause unrest in the player's club.

Yes we may have been somewhat bullish in trying to hoover up good players in the past but we're not as bad as Madrid in doing so.

We should just pander to his ego. Tell him that we are happy to let him fulfil his wish of going to Madrid, however we feel that he is the best GK in the world and we rate him so highly that we think he warrants a £30m asking price and hopefully Real Madrid value his ability enough to match that. Then tell him that we value him so highly that we'd rather have him at the club for one more season and lose him for free than sell him for anything less than £30m this summer. Mind games! "Why won't Madrid just pay the £30m for me? Do they not rate me so highly? Will Casillas still be number 1 in their eyes?"

Madrid are the biggest club in the world, they take what they want. They simply have to express an interest in a player and that player is gone. If there were any other real quality players in our squad, they would take them too.

Really not as simple as that. And please take your tongue out of Real's backside.

The problem is thay Madrid will want to pay 40 million € and you'll have to buy his replacement. If you buy from the premier league - Loris, for example, would cost nearly all that and is nowhere near as good.

How many keepers are on the same level as DDG. Not many. And even less that are available. If its Lloris that is to replace him, you can guarantee that he will cost more than what we get for DDG. Paying more money for an inferior replacement.

Admire Chelsea - Madrid wanted Courtois and Chelsea put 100m€ value on him. Courtois is open to a move apparently - that was quick.

But if we keep DDG for a year then we are only delaying and exacerbating that exact problem! In addition to which we will receive no transfer fee at all for DDG.

Then again next summer we will receive another £70m from Adidas so perhaps LVG would prefer to defer the DDG issue until next summer's window for budgetary reasons.

Javier Hernandez was Real Madrid main striker during latter part of the season Real Madrid seem to love players from teams in the premierleague.

If Real don't offer a satisfactory amount the don't sell, simple as. We're more than rich enough to write off that money.
