Stop this mucking around, we know you know everyone knows if u really want a player you pay whatever; oil money seems to have no boundries. We all know £50M to sheik whatever is like a tenner to us. Stop posturing with arsenal type bids and slam a £50M wedge down...done deal fella.

Coutinho and Sterling play completely different positions. comparing them makes little sense.

robbing, don't believe the hype ,believe your eyes. sterling has been dreadful. without suarez to play off hes been average at best and hopeless most other times. coutihno has developed better in the same time and I expect him to be even better next year.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What's the average? Which of his peers of the same is significantly out performing him and how many to create a mean average?
The answer is none. You think he's been average because you expect so much (even though your use of the word average is misplaced) and you expect so much because he's good.
Why have you watched 40 Liverpool games anyway?

I like Liverpool.im judging his performances with his peers on the team and he is better than some worse than others thus like his team was average. he certainly didn't push the team to greater heights. I think he is good for a 20 year old, but that's just potential

So in summary you feel his age is irrelevant in your appraisal and you think we would have come sixth and got to two semi finals without him?
Fact is there is nothing average about a 18 to 20 doing what he's done. That's why you all talk about him you see.

I know how to spot a flop, look at my thoughts on Borini from the day he signed.
Sterling will never be that bad and is a top player, one any top team would like and he would improve.
But with each passing day Sterlings value drops as he comes closer to the end of his deal

Sterling was our best forward player in the first half of the season, not saying much as we were dreadful, but he was the player that caught the eye.
After that interview on the BBC , he was poor.
Arouna, put your egg timer away. His value will depreciate after this window closes, not before. If for example City up their bid in this window , his value will have increased if the club accepts.

If the club accepts it and if wee Raheem accepts the move.
Are you sure it's a move to City he wants? I'm not.

I think he'd take a move to any of the top4 without hesitation

I would think London clubs would be a better bet due to his desire to move back near home

I think he has a preference but can't see him even contemplating turning down one of them if the offer is there.
