So - Nico, who lets be honest, i dont like, hes arrogant, has zero humility and generally lacks Charisma. That all said, i think hes a top class driver, and i have in the 2nd bracket of drivers, behind the Hamilton and Alonso's of this world.
DC is saying, he now has the beating of Hamilton. Take last seasons stats, they speak for themselves, he only beat Hamilton when things transpired against Hamilton.
This season, much the same, when Rosberg has won, it has been because Hamilton has been compromised, i.e bad start, team error etc.
In an out and out battle, no sillyness. He hasnt competed with Hamilton. Look all the back to Bahrain last year, He couldnt compete. Sochi etc.
The reality is, Hamilton is the superior Driver #FACT
So my issue is. The media are drumming this up to gain attention, its pathetic. They keep talking Ferrari up as well. No they cant compete with Mercedes. Nico cant compete with Lewis.
F1 has a few issues, which mostly come down to the artificialness of Racing, we dont need Artificial hype!

i get where you are coming from but at Austria Rosberg was faster and beat him legit, got away better and overtook him instantly. From then on Lewis never really looked like catching him let alone overtaking him. Yes Lewis is a class above Nico on track but not at the weekend it was pretty much only Lewis' Quali lap in Quali 3 was pretty much the only time he was really faster than Rosberg (didnt see all the practice however). Even Lewis conceded Nico was the better driver this weekend and thats why he was so annoyed. If people let him down or someone in particular he has a blame this weekend was down to him not being good enough that is harder to take for someone of Lewis ability. But thats what seperates him... He is never satisfied with the job he does, no matter what situation he knows he can always do better . Doesnt matter he should be fairly comfortable for the DC.
Dont forget Teams, sponsors and F1 in general needs all the publicity it can get. F1 needs rivalries and in turn the media driving this up more that it is to develop further interest in the sport.

Cheer Del - However thats my point, hamilton seemed to be wraggy all weekend - either had set up issues, or isnt keen on the track. However, he qualified on pole, so he cant dislike the track that much.
So that suggests, Hamilton had a bad weekend. The point im trying to make is, when both on form, Nico doesnt come near im afraid

yeah without doubt yeah ... i dont think last year Nico legitimately overtook Lewis on track at all ?? i might be wrong all overtakes were done thro retires/problems off track or the pits ? i might be wrong there tho. I think it might just be a circuit that Lewis doesnt really like much ... i think his quali was a bit of a one off as thro' sector 2 he had been slower than Nico all weekend until that one quali lap. Was Nico up on his time when he went off on the last corner? Immaterial, as u said we all know Lewis is faster driver even Nixo knows many times he ahs now referred to him as "put in a drivers champion performance" he knows he aint as fast and i think this is where the sneakiness comes in he will looking for every advantage he can and fair play to him the competitor in me admires that dont give up and try everything attitude. He wont win a championship as long as their is a healthy Lewis in the same car as him.

DC hates Hamilton, same with EJ. They cannot wait to stick the knife in. Some were even criticising him on the race thread for being upset he did not win a race.
What disgusting behaviour from the monstrous Hamilton.
Nico is a decent driver and over the course of a season will beat Lewis in a few races.
Over the season he will get destroyed.

Nico is better than decent MUDD no one who is just "decent" could beat hamilton, even if Lew had a bad day he is still better than a decent driver Nico is a top driver he just isnt elite. As i said there has been a few races (granted not many) that Nico has been faster than Hamilton without any big problems with the car. I re-iterate anyone who beats Lewis in the same car as him without getting a large slice of luck is better than decent ..... thats kinda an insult to how good Lewis is cos lets be honest there is an arguement to say that Lewis is the greatest human driver on the planet

delboy, not taking anything away from Nico it is just that we use words these days without merit.
I think Lewis is a fantastic driver and Nico is a good/decent one.

klkl we do all hold different opinions i have the opinion there is only a cpl of "decent drivers" Lewis just now is the best, greatest and absolute pinacle of racing (in this current era) no one can touch him and as i said anyone that can beat him even just once fairly in the same car is better than decent. Nico is a top driver defo better than average.
Perhaps you mean decent in terms of the field of competitors he is up against but without doubt he better than decent / average in general terms. The poorest drivers in F1 are still at least "decent" and Nico aint one of the poorest on the field ...no way

Very, very bold statement delboy. Mr Alonso and Mr Vettle may have something to say about that. Plus a certain Mr Ricciardo imo.
