Can't say I can blame him tbh if that's what has happened. I do remember the cringeworthy sky sports interviews that summer when he was leaving training if he was coming to Spurs. Thing is this is the same thing that Aubemayang (Dortmund) striker said when we tried to sign him. That we were acting all weird, and that the whole affair was bizarre.

What the F is the problem with our scouting/transfer team. They seem to mess everything up. Can't even scout decent players - thought Suarez was not good enough ffs.
