Last night. Wanted to remind myself of 3 legends.
But those great nights aside, 1 thing that really stood out; was we dropped some really silly points. AVB or not, we should not have had the absolutely shocking December we had. That wasn’t just the “high line" and naïve tactics.
I started the evening wanting remind myself of how great that season ended and of 3 departed legends, Drogs, Lampard and Cech and ended it thinking
“phew".
We really got out of jail and I don’t think we’d have the squad we currently have if it weren’t for Munich

Munich was down to the players, especially the veterans on last chance salon, forcing levels of effort they probably didn't think they were capable off, and the Angel on the crossbar.
Our squad was a complete mess and it showed in the league, no disrespect to these two but when Mata (very good but limited) and Rami (technically limited to say the least) were the two most consistent players in fact they were carrying us at the time, you know there's a problem.
Spot on about Munich as Well Flash, I honestly believe Munich helped us skip 2-3 years of transition, we would be at a similar stage to 12-13 right now if we lost imo.
