Support the Owners they are more important

than the manager to the future of our club.
How can you doubt there actions they stuck by Pearson when many of us had given up on him.
They have funded the training facility loved up the fans and sacked a man as is their right for obviously doing something that pushed them to far.
You can take comfort in the fact that this wasn't planned by no immediate replacement lined up so it was something NP did.
Everyone is shocked including me i expected NP to at least be given till Christmas but the abuse on social media and lack of respect they are now being called the Thia's rather than the owners is disgusting imo

We will stay up and go on to find another manager we can respect.

What exactly did James Pearson do that was degrading?

This isn't the first time they've been to Thailand though, is it? The team, I mean? They've been there before. So was everyone just unaware that this was happening and now the owners have just been "caught" and embarrassed by it? Why should the owners provide anything? They have a whole load of players representing their business after all and are under no obligation to provide that sort of "entertainment".

I don't doubt that you're just reporting what you've been told by this director fellow, but the whole thing doesn't add up to me. What makes more sense is him making a stand in defence of his son and claiming that the punishment is too harsh. Many would agree with him on that; I don't. But if all parties couldn't get over that or move on then this becomes inevitable.

And we've been through the debate over the actions of James Pearson elsewhere so we should probably just take it that, whatever the rights and wrongs of it, it was at the very least unacceptable to the public face of the club.

"The owners said let them have want they want and rumour has it that Wasa was Shegging the Arsenal of an Elephant in the next suite while it gave Huff a bloow joby Fact"

I think this is the best sentence I have ever read on this forum!!!

People used to say the likes of Cleverly, Bebe, Gibson weren't good enough to which the retort was "I'll trust SAF's judgement above yours". Look how that worked out. Even the greatest can be doubted and get things wrong. That being said I reckon you will bring in a top manager, looks like the money is there. Clubs like Southampton and Swansea haven't been afraid to make changes when people thought they were crazy to and they are comfortably finishing top 10 regularly now. I can see Leicester going the same way.

Our owners have been phenomenal for our club and they maintain my support.

That said, whilst they have made very few mistakes, they have made them (Sven). I really hope that this isn't a mistake.

But whether it is or not, I know how important these people are for our club and I remain thankful for everything they've done.

Agreed Mersey but this next decision has the potential to undo everything. Fingers crossed they make the right decision.

If we get a big name my confidence and faith will be restored. Whatever the outcome, don't let my disappointment at the situation detract from what these guys have done for us because as you said it's phenomenal what they've done and I do appreciate everything, I'm just very concerned right now.

I share your concern Arro. Just considering the playing side of this alone, it's a huge risk.

I hope we come out of it smelling like Southampton rather than Fulham!

Losing Cambiasso as well will be a huge loss. I can't see him staying now, especially with what Nev said about seeing a text saying he wants to leave.
