and to think for years Spurs fans have been wumming the Hammers about thier new multi-use ground.

If this is true and to be honest Harry is not 100% reliable, your new ground will inevitably be a compromise between the two codes.

Haha what you gotta ask yourself is what we're the revised plans for?I have long said the crowd figure is not what it would be.

Long and short of it is we will have two pitches one for football one for nfl "football". The deal is huge the biggest in the country as is the sponsorship we are getting alongside it.

Something you won't read in the papers arsenal and West Ham have blocked us massively hence the delays. They have challenged everything. As whatever your doing with the club has to be submitted to the premier league first then the fa etc. the clubs have to be in agreement.

Now I understand West Ham cos we messed them about with the Olympic stadium but arsenal we helped massively with their stadium even giving them our home fixture so they could start the season at home to open the Emirates. Classless.

Arsenal in another classless move has actually cut a deal with us finally in terms of fixtures. Basically they get the plum ties to start the season end the season (home games) in order to facilitate us to moving to a temp home. Us and arsenal are paired together in fixture planning so must come to an amicable arrangement over fixtures.

Our new temp home is in the hands of the police, government and councils now it is Wembley,Upton park and mk arena or whatever it is called. Once all is agreed we can announce our plans.

I would not expect an announcement on the nfl to be honest as we tend not to announce anything!

LLM

Can you enlighten us as to what you are alluding to in this comment of yours.

You mention to the "two pitches" but that is hardly news as it was mentioned in the plans a couple of years ago and I reminded the forum of it earlier in the thread.

And it has been extensively covered in the press that West Ham would not share the OS or allow us to use the Boleyn Ground as a temporary home, and likewise Arsenal have dismissed reports that they would ground share with us. But then it would be surprising if Sainsburys allowed Tesco to set up in one of their stores whilst Tesco refurbished on of their own stores!!!

What other points could Arsenal or West Ham possibly have control over. We are aware that Spurs are paired with Arsenal when fixture lists are generated, and if we play at, say MK Dons for the year away, we will be so far away from the Emirates, the pairing will have no value or credibility for that year.

So what else have Arsenal and West Ham been hindering us "at every turn"?

As soon as the planning application went in for basement level car parking, retractable pitch(es) was on the agenda.

How ironic would it be if the ASM saga has facilitated all of this.
If they had not delayed the acquisition of all the land for new WHL, IMHO the construction work would have gone past the "point of no return" and none of these proposals would be possible.

The final piece of the jigsaw for me is in the seating.
If the architects design the spectator fixtures like Dortmund use in their stadium(conversion between safe standing and seating configurations) , then if the English league ever allow standing to return, WHL will have the additional capacity right there from day 1.

We've revised plans for a hotel so there must be something big happening cos beforehand we couldn't even attract a 2 star hotel.

This is really exciting!!
Would explain why Lewis and Levy valued the club so high, hope Levy pulls this off!!

The folklore has always been that Uncle Joe will sell Spurs once he is guaranteed 500m. But when you are worth what he is, you hardly have to rush things along.
