As Murney is off...

Confusion all day as we looked to replace CT who had to pull out with a back injury sustained during his extra curricular activity.
Wee Joe stepped in and looked sharp despite being out for 4 months.

Lining up for Choppers side at Soccerworld was Chopper, Kris, Shooter McGavin, Sean, Weighorst and Paddy.

Against him for Hoops side were massive underdogs Hoops, Elite, Joe, Coisty, Lauders and Guyser.

A much more physical game on display this week with both teams getting stuck in early doors. NNH will be glad he didn't make it as the stretcher would have been required.

Goals were free flowing at both ends and although Choppers side took an early lead, quick counter attacking football from Hoops side with coisty and hoops linking up well turned the tie on it's head.

Incredible defending from Elite kept it tight however eventually the lack of an out ball from the hoops box was telling. There was probably around five or six in it at the end however although Chopper's side were comfortable winners, it was never over as a contest and great finishes were on show at both ends.

Finish of the game was Kris' Mortal Kombat finish on my adams apple.

MOTM is tough due to several good performers in Chopper's side but for me was probably EIite for his brave defending throughout despite ending on the losing side.

Goal of the game I'd give to Coisty after he waltzed around the whole pitch before calmly finishing.
Special Mention to shooter who scored a lob over wee joe

*I admit my memory isn't great so any input to what actually happened out there would be appreciated.

Hopefully some players returning next week as I think CT and Murney are still away and 6s seems to be the more popular option.
