Should it be Bournemouth, how about Lee Camp as part of the. Deal ?? Wasn't it only last week that Fawaz said he had no intention of selling Antonio, guess the resolve is being tested early this year

Rather than asking for a large (justified) fee we should ask Bournemouth for their first team from last season in exchange for Antonio. That should do it.

I read the original article that suggested he was going for 7.5m and nowhere in the detail does it suggest anything other than their interest. So quite how they jumped from there to him being on the verge of joining, I really can't imagine

I see this situation in a similar way to the Harry Kane one, as last year was great so you naturally want to keep him but there is a nagging doubt that it was a one season wonder and in two years we may well wish we taken the money.
If Antonio wants to go, not that he has said this yet, then its sad that there's no loyalty but to be fair a normal situation. Just makes Cohen and Reids of this World more special in my eyes....

In two years we may be able to make use of any money which we can't now

WBA are rumoured to have been in contact with Firest over a deal too. Its a bit que sera this one. Realistically, we can't blame him for taking his chance if it is there to be taken. Forest in paper don't really look like contenders at this moment in time and are looking at former players as the options in the transfer market look increasingly limited. Antonio deserves a go in the Prem. Just a shame that it looks like it isn't to be with Forest.

A fortuitous minor injury that keeps Antonio out of action for a while may nip all this in the bud however...😉

You mean the John Percy thing Will? Alan Nixon is suggesting this morning that the NFFC position is still that he's not for sale.

I don't think Forest have any intention of selling. Think Antonio would have to put in a transfer request to get a move. Got to be the clubs position really. Got to hope that Antonio enjoys his status amongst the supporters here more than looking at his bank balance....

Rev, Antonio joined you from a lower club. What's the difference?
