I just dont get it...........

.....two seasons ago QPR bust the Championship Financial Fair Play limit big time to get promoted.
Others, like Leeds and Blackburn get penalised last season with transfer embargos.
QPR are welcomed back by the Championship committee and told lets negotiate on the £60m fine and as a bonus they are free to sign players.

In classical Mike Gatting mode ...'one rule for one one rule for the others'

It can't be right.

Money Talks ... Not much else to it.

It doesn't seem right to me but then FIFA have been making up their own rules for years.

I think Bent is the word.

Not 100% up to speed on the QPR situation. But the FFP regulations implemented by the football league were agreed and arranged by the clubs/football league.

I understand they were based on the Uefa model, and had nothing to do with Fifa.

isn't it...
When a club is relegated they in effect reapply to join the lower league under a gentlemen's agreement granted a place in that league if the club meets the requirements of joining the league. The Championship should have acted when they committed the offence while under their rules. They can not go back skipping over their PL stay as they are new members to the championship so starting again. The premier league could not do them as the offence was committed under the championship rules not theirs.
Those that didn't go up and remained under championship rules got caught and done under the rules.

As a Firest fan, I can't disagree with the club's punishment for breaking the FFP rules but the QPR situation sticks in the throat massively. Will just encourage others to do the same, (although I think it helps if your club is from London...)

I didn't think it was anything to do with FIFA. Just pointing out that there are some rules that apply to some and not to others.

Correct, it was Platini's thing.
