In the vernacular of MILF this ain't a real article so ignore it if you want.......🍩

Derby County travel the short distance down the A38 to our BLFs (Best League Friends) for what will be their largest crowd of a season yet to start.....🐯.

This will be the final chance to accomadate Hughes and Hendrick in the 2W overlapping, pencil tip, diamond tip formation gizmo (it was very late when I read it.....😕).

Plus for selfish reasons, I have no access to any news about the game an will need to know.......😎

Just back home, all of 2 miles away! Nice run out for the lads, not gonna do a 2 wellies in depth special cos I have trouble remembering what's happened even though I've just seen it! Was a bit strange standing amongst opposition fans though! Good to see Shackell back, with him, Thorne and the other experienced prem players we look like we have some quality on the pitch. The two full backs got forward well and put in good shifts although Forsyth was at fault for the freekick which led to their goal. Second half we looked like we were getting overrun in midfield until we made the first of the changes. We played some nice keep ball stuff. Ssewankambo and Hanson did ok when they came on. Overall a good workout for the lads and a decent performance.

Quite an encouraging performance despite it being lower opposition.

4-2-3-1 shape suited the players chosen. Shackell was like a rolls-royce. Thorne & Baird dominated thre midfield apart from the 10 min dodgy spell 2nd half.

Decent cameos from less-vaunted subs Ssewankambo, Hanson & Dawkins just highlighted the depth we've got in this squad.

Bring on the trotters.

Shackell was like a Rolls Royce: Fcking expensive, with the turning circle of a frigate.
