Lacking a direct winger?

I can't help think e squad is lacking a pacey and direct winger. While Hazard and Willian are brilliant players neither are out and out wingers in the mould of Robben. Hazard doesn't have electric pace over 50 meters and Willian isn't really a risk taker, he slow play down rather than risk concealing possession typically.

In Salah and Cuarado Mourinho has clearly attempted to address this and perhaps one will prove them selves, but I'm not holding my breath.

I do rate the combination of Hazard, Oscar and Willian but think we struggle with a plan B in that area of the pitch. Hazard is obviously world class player and I hope to see improvement from Oscar having his first summer off for five years. I'll also take this opportunity to praise Willian, I thought he was our outstanding player today, was sharp among a team that looked a little off the pace and played with an attacking purpose while conceding nothing in his defensive game in a way many of us have called for from him in the past.

However if like to see us have another option because frankly as it stands there is no way the above three don't play if available and that isn't the healthiest. Hazard offers so much from the left and is crucial to our counterattacking game however in games against opposition with less attacking ambition I think Hazard could move inside and we could get a pace merchant on the left, someone to make defenders uncomfortable and will attack with a little less subtlety. I am thrilled we have a team who can mix it up in approach but would actually like us to be a bit more obvious in our play at times too.

I'd love a player who would run beyond Hazard. I can't see it happening but Bale would be absolutely perfect for the role. This isn't a reaction to today's result, I think we'd win that game in two weeks, we've got an excellent team and we're quite rightly favourites to defender our title however there is room for improvement.
