New & Rumoured Signings

Morning!

Two-fold article really, firstly it seems like we get linked with a player and we run with it, one in mind is Bolasie, at rumoured £20-25 million. I like him but personally so overpriced. We then get a bit blinkered but I keep seeing other proven PL players putting in consistent performances with no mention - particularly Mahrez at Leicester (also was great against us last year) and Montero at Swansea, scaring the life out of fullbacks. Neither are ever linked with a move yet Bolasie has become a £25 million player! What are your thoughts on the likes of Mahrez/Montero, and particularly in comparison to N'Jie and Bolasie?

2nd point, same old story but still... How are we haemorrhaging money while teams like Swansea are finding players like Ayew and Gomis who are exactly the sort of players we're looking for, and for free?! Same questions about our scouting setup, how are we missing these gems?!

I wanted Bentaleb dropped for the Stoke game cos of his bad performance against United.

When he came on Bentaleb dallied and lost it in the edge of our area when a simple pass would've cleared the danger. Not sure he's learning quick enough.

I think he'll be a really good player. Part of his game is keeping possession but maybe other teams have highlighted this and press him more, he needs to learn to
Mix it up.

The fans are a big problem for our club IMO

Already seen fans getting on N'jie back saying he's rubbish etc

Look at bentaleb for example fans already wanting him dropped due to making a couple mistakes

As for the booing yesterday complete joke. Yes don't be happy but to boo after the first home game of the season has now set a precedent.

What happens when we have 60k turning up? Oh I no we will just be like arsenals boo boys

----------------------------------------------------------------------
i say this all the time and get pelters.

the fans are big reason why this club is going nowhere fast. we have some of the worst home fans in the division. draw the first game of season at home so get booed off????????? wow.

that kind of stuff puts more pressure on the team and the management in the next home game, and the pattern continues.

then you get the loud minority always on about sack the manager, no matter who the manager is, then when levy does it everyone complains that we have to give people time.

people are already calling for poch out you just have to laugh.

at the start of every season all our fans write us off for top 4, say we are a working progress, lots of young players, patience needed and it will take time, and as soon as we get a couple of dodgy results those same people start moaning

in general, spurs fans = idiots…. this board was embarrassing yesterday and if you took away all poster names and club names and left the rest of the words, i would think i was reading the arsenal board. thats how bad we have become.

Kane being unfit isn't helping either

Played almost constantly for Spurs since last December, along with the U-21's, and all the pre-season friendlies, and no wonder he's having niggling issues. Makes the decision to not bring more attacking players in early, even more stupid.

I am sick to death of people saying that booing the team is embarrassing blah blah bloody blah!

People pay alot of money to go and watch Spurs. They cheer when it's going well but when it's not they sometimes boo. What other way can the fans show their dissatisfaction?

As for our fans being embarrassing, for me we have some of the most passionate and loyal fans in the league. That comes with good and bad points.

You'd think that the club would have realised the likelihood that Kane would need to be eased back into things, and that Soldado and Adebayor weren't part of the plans for this season, and got a striker in earlier? Other than the tentative enquiries for Martial, have we actually sought to buy a striker? Would love to know.

In a strange way (I'm sure many of you will slate me for this but I'll say it anyway), should we make a total mess of this transfer window and not get the necessary reinforcements, I hope the club will learn that waiting until August 21st or whatever to get a move on isn't the way to go about things.

Our fan base in no better than arsenal which most Spurs fans seem to mock.

Watched the match on sky last night and could really hear the Stoke fans but not Spurs until the piped up to boo

Going to the next game hopefully it's better but some how doubt it

Firstly, we have much better fans then Arsenal in every single department.

Secondly, I thought our fans were ok yesterday.

Our fans are fine and are one of the best in the league away from home.

At home we should be given something to cheer about we do not get that. Big clubs (as we are) rarely drop points at home it is to be expected the fans are disapointed. More so disapointed that we dropped a two goal lead against that fantastic side erm stoke city. The mid table merchants.
