It's not the fact he starts every piece with "I wasn't impressed with United", its just how poorly its written. Like something from a child.

Have to laugh at some of these pundits i swear a few years back they were all saying Rooney is wasted as a number 10 or out wide and should be an out and out striker now they are back tracking.

People who get so wound up by predictions are cringeworthy kids. Never understood it. It's easy to slate any public figure who puts their head on the line with their opinions and predictions and so many people wet their knickers, whipping themselves into a frenzy.

Big time. Ironically, I still think he is best deployed as a striker rather than as a number 10. Eventually, the Rooney loving media will come to terms with the fact that he isn't as good as they thought he was in either position!
I.e. his poor form has nothing to do with where he is playing.
TBF he did improve (how could he not?) against Brugge and his flick for Memphis would have been the assist of the season had Memphis scored.
