The better team won

Admins can you tag city in this? I'm not allowed to tag two teams for some reason

I was concerned that we didn't really make Hart work at any point during the game, the stats say we had one shot on target but I don't remember it.
Man City were the better team today and sadly it wasn't even close. Press us high up the pitch and we don't perform well, it is a oft repeated pattern against the better teams. One day we'll learn........maybe.

For what it's worth i thought Everton played well.
It's obviously early days but City are a monster on a roll atm. Despite the lack of chances that you may or may not have had, when the second went in i thought that was a bit harsh tbh given the effort shown.
Don't be too down on yourselves

We couldn't press city high as we normally would, they have the pace on the counter. Don't think we will see a better player than Silva at Goodison this season. He was different class to everyone.


Wish Barkley had played the simple ball more often.

City looking good, strong at the back and pacey up front, they're also very good at slowing games down when leading.

Some tough games coming up for us so really need to pick points up sharpish, oh and a few signing would be good too.

We won't have a tougher game than that all season.

We will play worse than that this season and win games.
